Poised for ageing

Popped and poured. The nose and palate show some fruit, but very much muted compared to the 2023 Vidal from Wagner. Lots of acid. My gut is that this wine will last longer than the Vidal, but that's just a guess. It will be good to get a few more bottles and let them age for years.

We had a bottle of this while watching Hallmark's Perfect Pairing which is all about ice wine. This wine is deliciously sweet. It's a very high quality ice wine.

I do not drink wine, I find the taste is usually disgusting and rotten. Someone suggested I try a dessert wine and decided to go with this product, I really enjoy the taste this product has, and the sweet aftertaste that it leaves in your mouth, I will buy this again and has made me want to try other dessert wines.

Dessert in a glass of sweet Riesling

Tastes like a Finger Lakes Riesling to me, but heavenly sweet with acid, mineral, white grape juice and apricot. Sit by the fireplace and savor this wine a sip at a time. A plate of salty cheese and crackers could accompany it too. Enjoy.
