A beautiful pairing wine that will complement whatever is on your table with a fresh finish and a silky mouthfeel. This wine will continue to unwind beautifully with time in the bottle. This dry Riesling is an outstanding food wine, with nectarine and lime aromas, flavors of citrus and mineral and a crisp clean finish. The opulent fruit is restrained and there is just the right amount of lively acidity to pair beautifully with myriad foods without being bitey.
WINE SPECS:
Vintage: 2019 Varietal: Riesling Appellation: Finger Lakes Harvest Date: October 23 & 30, 2019 Acid: 8.3 pH: 2.95 Fermentation: Stainless steel Bottling Date: April 28 & 30, 2020 Residual Sugar: 0.48 Alcohol: 11.9 Food Pairing Notes: A superb and versatile food wine. Its slightly round mouth feel makes it a perfect match for fin fish, seafood, chicken, pork and mild cheeses. Try in place of champagne at your next brunch!
Vineyard, Production, & Winemaker Notes: This bottling of our dry Riesling is a blend of our Caywood East & West Vineyard. Our Dry Riesling is mineral driven on the nose and all fruit on the palate. Lime peel, apple, and pears on the palate. Nice acidity makes for a bright wine with a lasting finish.

Very Smooth
From Anonymous of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on .
Love the Finger Lakes region and Wagners is an amazing Winery to visit, have eaten at the Ginny Lee many times. Have this wine with lunch every time. I am not a connoisseur but this is really smooth really drinkable wine and at a reasonable price. I could not help myself and had a bottle as soon as it arrived, it immediately bought memories of sitting in the cafe overlooking Lake Seneca. Hope to be back soon.
Highly recommend

Nice Dry Riesling

I used to avoid Rieslings because I found them too sweet. That was before I tried Dry Rieslings. This wine is very enjoyable for someone who likes dry wines. I have already ordered more.
