Aging in a combination of new and older small oak barrels contributes to this wine's supple mouthfeel. Full-bodied and food-friendly! Great NYS Cabernet Sauvignon wine. Upon opening the wine we gave it the nose test as we call it. It had nice earthy overtones. After decanting and sampling we enjoyed the smooth mouth feel and berry notes of the wine. Can't wait to enjoy this wine in 2 - 3 years, I'm sure it will be even better.

I was never a heavy red wine drinker however I recently gave up sweet wine and wanted to give this a try. I was so pleasantly surprised how light and wonderful this Cabernet was. I have been trying east coast Cabernets lately and this one is a winner.
