This is a special very limited commemorative bottling of our Single Vineyard Riesling. The 2018 vintage of our Riesling Caywood East Vineyard is an exceptionally excellent vintage and this special bottling of Magnums (1.5L bottles) was bottled to celebrate our 40th Anniversary in 2019. There were only 40 cases bottled with this commemorative bottle and our regular bottling of the 2018 vintage of this wine is no longer currently available. This special bottling was initially only available for purchase at the winery. In 2020, we decided to offer this special bottling online.

As these bottles are magnum size (1.5L), they are not eligible for our regular shipping rates and will not count as bottle quantities towards our flat rate shipping, however, shipping is included when you purchase this limited edition bottling.

Vineyard, Production, & Winemaker Notes: Our Caywood East vineyard is situated just south of the winery on a steeply sloped gravel site overlooking the mid-section of Seneca Lake. For more than 90 years, this site has produced exceptional grapes. The site was replanted entirely to Riesling on a new Scott-Henry trellis system in 2005. Caywood East is comprised of 3 Riesling clones: #90 & #198. The clones were separately harvested & fermented in stainless prior to blending. This truly dry Riesling is an outstanding dinner wine, with slate, minerality, citrus, and just a whisper of tree fruit.
