Merlot

Grilled a steak and added au poivre sauce to it. Had the requisite veggies and opened the Merlot. What a pleasant surprise! One glass was not enough. Fruity without being cloying and the finish is so smooth you won't have to the "pucker-face" that other red wines cause. I will definitely order more. Wish the bottle was larger so I could have poured more for myself and guests!

Wagner wines are among my favorite brands and the only brand not located at a store near me that I'm willing to have shipped. The Merlot is fantastic. I'm not good at explaining details of taste, but it's very good and that's all that matters!

This is one of the best red wines I have ever had!

I laid the bottles down and will open one at the end of the year. I will make a nice Italian dinner and enjoy the wine with it. They get better each year.
