This soft, fruity, semi-sweet red is a popular sipping wine. Most prefer this table red be served chilled.
When Bill Wagner set out to create a wine for his mother, Alta Button Wagner, he discovered that what she really wanted was not a fancy wine for the aristocrats, but a truly great wine for real people, full of flavor and not overly dry. Simple and elegant, but down to earth just like Alta B. herself. Alta B Red was the first with Alta B White and Alta B Blush following to form our trio of sweet, fruity & refreshing Alta B wines.

The Ultimate Table Red

This wine is a favorite of mine. I order cases of it because of its delicious taste and versatile application with many foods I enjoy. I even have had a glass of this for dessert, or with a dessert like a cheesecake. The sweetness leaves a beautiful fruity, thirst quenching finish, yet it is dry enough to have enough cut to go with the meats I often grill, and rich pasta dishes I sometimes make. I buy the bigger bottles, and keep one out on the table, the smaller ones weren't lasting long enough! My 81-year-old mother introduced me to this wine, and everything she raved about proved true. We have a glass together almost every night. Truly a wine that simply makes you feel better, thank you Alta B for giving us such a diligent son, this wine would make a mother proud indeed!
