Vineyard, Production, & Winemaker Notes: The 2025 Finger Lakes grape growing season began with a wet, cool May, but was ultimately defined by a hot, dry summer (rain-fall from mid-June to mid-August was less than 50% of normal) with low disease pressure and high sugar accumulation. Harvest began early, yielding unusual red grape ripeness and high-quality white wines, making it a promising vintage overall.

Wagner Ice wines are gently pressed from frozen grapes, coaxing the juice out while leaving the water behind as ice crystals. The result is an indulgently sumptuous dessert wine. The grapes used for this wine came from Block 16 in our Lone Oak site. Cold soaked 12-14 hours, Fermented in stainless steel tanks, and crossflow filtered

For the first time in our near 50-year history, we bottled and are now releasing a single vineyard Cabernet Franc. This bottling, from grapes grown on our Lone Oak Vineyard situated just north of our winery, comes from the warm and dry growing season of 2022. The resulting wine from some of the ripest fruit we've ever grown is bold, full-bodied, and complex. We suggest decanting this wine for 30-45 minutes before enjoying, or aging the bottle for a few more months before enjoying. This wine will age beautifully for years to come
